'THE CHISWICK HOUSE SPHINX' These Sphinxes were made as part of an 'installation trail' at Chiswick House, an English Heritage site in west London, September 2005. The Sphinx is a miniature copy of one sitting in the grounds at Chiswick, with the interior of the plinths reflecting the colour and imagery found in the room in which they were to be exhibited.
'LADY MACBETH' This piece was made for a three woman show entitled 'Blackout' at the 'Toilet Gallery', Kingston Upon Thames in 2004. The gallery is housed within an old disused toilet block and was blacked out for the exhibition. 'Lady Macbeth' consisted of a hidden cine projection that was reflected on to a large piece of angled glass making her appear like a ghost. The projection flickered on and off but when she was visible she obsessively rubbed her hands together and occasionally looked over her shoulder before disappearing again.
'LEAFLET RACK' 'Leaflet Rack' was developed for an exhibition in the foyer of Wimbledon School of Art in 2001. The leaflets are a collection of miscellaneous diagrams, originally drawn in pencil then printed on glossy paper. They were intended to be picked up and kept by anyone who was interested. The wire rack measured 100cm x 35 cm.
